Intel Corporate Development is the focal point for all of Intel's acquisitions and inorganic value creation opportunities, managing the entire life cycle of transactions from ideation to completion. Corporate Development has a unique vantage point at Intel, serving as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to our Executive Leadership Team and business unit GMs, proactively shaping and executing our strategic inorganic initiatives. This includes development of investment cases, construction of deal concepts, and execution of transactions necessary to unlock value for Intel in close partnership with BU GMs and staff. To realize our strategic objectives, Corporate Development team members lead global, multi-functional, matrixed teams assembled to successfully drive transaction projects.
The Corporate Development Manager will support the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and colleagues across our team, enabling company-wide execution and integration of transactions advancing our inorganic strategies in close alignment with our CEO and Executive Leadership Team, as well as business unit and engineering leadership.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively across organizations to successfully support mergers and acquisitions activity across the transaction life cycle: inorganic strategy development, deal sourcing, analysis, negotiation, diligence, and integration; deal types include private or public acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, and divestitures positively impacting our strategic and financial trajectory.
Partnerclosely with the Corporate Strategy team to tightly align our mergers and acquisitions strategy with the Company's long-term strategic objectives.
Actively support research on external mergers and acquisitions activity and risks to the company to assure agility and insight.
Organize and conduct initial investigations and due diligence on potential acquisition targets.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations describing the key attributes of growth opportunities and target acquisitions.
Work collaboratively with finance and product leaders to prepare and analyze financial models for potential acquisitions and growth opportunities.
Provide support for the Integration process from deal planning to post close activity, ensuring delivery of acquisition model commitments.
Partner closely with business units and cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, Operations, Legal and other functional departments) to ensure a successful deal process, closing and initial transition for employees of newly acquired companies.
Participate in the financial reporting of acquired companies post close and prepare reports describing actual performance against deal commitments.
Drive key initiatives by serving as the representative team member for a variety of ad-hoc strategic projects.
Participate in the preparation of periodic status reports for the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, as well as Intel's Board of Directors.

The job requires travel as needed.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree.
3 years of technology mergers and acquisitions experience, either in corporate development at a global company, investment banking, and/or private equity. Experience includes identifying, developing, analyzing and supporting the successful execution of mergers and acquisitions and related strategic transactions.
Preferred qualifications:
- Masters degree or MBA preferred.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
