Intel Foundry Services (IFS) is an independent foundry business established to meet our customers' unique product needs. With the first "Open System Foundry" model in the world, our combined offerings of wafer fabrication, advanced process, packaging technology, chiplets, software, robust ecosystem, and assembly/test capabilities help our customers build their innovative silicon designs and deliver full end-to-end customizable products from Intel's secure, resilient, and sustainable source of supply.
As a member of the IFS Marketing and Platforms (MAP) Market Intelligence (MI) team, you will:
- Create and update business models centered on the semiconductor foundry industry.
- Primarily focused on foundry customers, these models target specific semiconductor applications and devices to determine market size in wafer units and dollars, by various metrics, such as technology node. These models use sophisticated technical metrics, such as defect density, N factor, and process yields.
- The parties contacted for data gathering and triangulation are both internal (segment experts, Marketing, Sales, Engineering) and external (3rd-party market research firms, investment bank sell-side analysts, industry forums).
- You will also be involved in ad-hoc management requests and special projects.

Qualifications
What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, electrical/computer engineering, or equivalent technical degree with 4 years of experience listed below, OR Master of Science degree in economics, finance, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree with 3 years of experience.
- 5 years of work experience in sophisticated semiconductor or technical/business analyses.
- 1 years’ experience collaborating with MI (Market Intelligence) firms and gathering/synthesizing information from multiple sources.
- 1 years’ experience interfacing with technical and marketing people, to capture product roadmaps, process technology details, defect densities, and other technical semiconductor parameters.
- 1 years’ experience working with financial terms and statements.
How to Stand out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA, Master of Science degree in economics, finance, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree with 3 years of experience.
- Advanced Mathematics skills
- Advanced or expert PowerPoint and Excel skills

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $139,480.00-$209,760.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
