Position Overview :

As an Import / Export Analyst you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and optimizing our import and export processes.

You will be responsible for managing the efficient movement of goods across international borders while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Compliance Management : Ensure compliance with all applicable import and export regulations, including but not limited to FDA, CBP, EAR, ITAR, and other relevant authorities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate import / export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping records.
• Coordinate customs clearance activities, including classification, valuation, and duty / tax assessment, to facilitate the timely movement of goods across borders.
• Assess and mitigate import / export risks related to trade compliance, logistics, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and Legal, to ensure alignment on import / export activities and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other external service providers to optimize import / export processes and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the import / export function, implementing best practices and automation solutions where applicable.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in import / export compliance, preferably in the medical devices or healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations, including FDA regulations, HTS codes, and export controls.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
• Proficiency in trade compliance software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
