This is a Field Technican position that provides you with challenging problems in a wide variety of IT environments. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your IT skill while gaining valuable experience. And have some fun along the way.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing onsite technical support to clients. Excellent customer service and technical skills are required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data networks in conjunction with our remote helpdesk
- Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance
- Visit facilities and fix/resolve any IT issues
- Work with local wiring and maintenance teams for any needs
- Enforce policies for standardizing systems
- Performs all other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in IT, or other related fields
- Have reliable auto and willing to drive
- Self-starter, self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with architectural specifications
- Familiarity with researching communication networks
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to listen and communicate well with clients.
- Ability to develop rapport, good interpersonal skills.

Education & Experience This position requires a 4-year bachelor's degree in an IT related major or 2 year technical degree and relevant experience
Technical Knowledge & Experience
- Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware and standard business software.
- Ability to setup new computers from scratch.
- General understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Networking knowledge of IP, DHCP, DNS, Routers, Switches, WIFI, VPN, and others.
- Knowledge of Exchange, Google Apps, and Office 365
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
