\n\nJob Responsibilities\n- \n
- Administering nursing care in ALFs, SNFs, and other post-acute care facilities \n
- Working with residents and medical staff to devise care plans \n
- Ensuring residents receive the right personalized treatments and medications \n
- Explaining best options for care with residents and their family members \n
- Consulting with other healthcare professionals, including doctors \n
- Setting up medical equipment and monitoring their use \n
- Overseeing the compliance with facility policies and nursing standards \n
- Documenting and checking the accuracy of interventions and medical histories \n
- Performing fluid sample draws for lab work \n
- Leading the training and supervision of nursing staff \n
- Assisting with incident investigations and checking for accuracy of reporting

- Current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) \n
- Completion of an approved nursing program \n
- Experience in either post-acute care or in-patient hospital settings (at least 4 months) \n
- Excellent organizational skills
