- Providing quality care as an RN in post-acute care facilities \n
- Creating care plans by collaborating with medical staff and residents \n
- Delivering the best treatments and administration of medications to each resident \n
- Reviewing care options and outcomes with physicians and other staff \n
- Educating residents and family members about best options for care \n
- Setting up, monitoring medical equipment as needed \n
- Making sure staff is compliant with nursing standards and facility policies \n
- Drawing fluids, such as blood and urine, for lab analysis \n
- Training and supervising nurses and support staff \n
- Ensuring the accurate documentation of medical interventions and histories \n
- Helping staff with incident investigations

- Current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) \n
- Completion of an approved nursing program \n
- Experience in either post-acute care or in-patient hospital settings (at least 4 months) \n
- Excellent organizational skills
