This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Property in Albuquerque NM, or Reston, Virginia. Serves as Supply System Analyst for the management and support of the BIA Central Office property management program.

Qualifications:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
GS-11: management and support of the property management program; providing guidance on all matters concerning property accountability automated systems management, acquisition and disposal, fleet management inventory, internal controls and other issues with government owned assets.
GS-12: providing assistance to management by developing national policy and procedures for all Bureau real/personal property and vehicle management; analyzing a variety of multi-faceted problems, questions and conditions primarily associated with the various property and fleet management requirements; developing/interpreting property management policies and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Conducts studies and the analysis of functions, methods, procedures, and practices to new and improved property management automated systems business processes within the BIA community.
- Ensures that current personal property is correct, accurate, and up-to-date for all BIA assets within Central Office to ensure that all property is accounted for and properly managed.
- Analyzes and evaluates field reviews to confirm that assets are properly accounted for in Bureau's financial automated systems and vehicle usage is appropriate monitored.
- Performs various administrative and property management technical support duties and other duties as assigned and keeps supervisor informed of projects assigned, timelines, and due dates.
- Assist BIA property personnel in satisfying customers' needs in accordance with Departmental guidelines in the area of property management.
- Aid in developing formal and informal briefings and provide support in making presentations on personal property matter to the Division of Property Management office.
