Interior Logic Group Property Services is a leading supplier of flooring for the Multi-Family, Single Family and Senior Living communities. We are looking to add a talented Quality Control Flooring Technician to our incredible team. Position Summary
The Flooring Technician supports our operations and sales departments by performing quality measurements and inspections during the sales and installation process, from start to finish.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect flooring installation against company standards
- Reports both acceptable and unacceptable results, and follows up on incidents to confirm resolution in a timely manner
- Remedies minor defects by repairing immediately onsite to avoid customer impact
- Efficiently generates accurate measures with minimal waste and without errors
- Professional communication with installers, sales, and operations staff
- Performs other duties as assigned by Branch Manager
Job Qualifications
- 2 Years of flooring experience and understanding of installation REQUIRED
- Tech savvy with experience in Microsoft products
- Valid drivers license and insurable
- Problem solving skills, solid basic math skills needed to accurately calculate quantities
Working Conditions
- Significant time spent driving to properties and rental homes
- Walking units and talking with onsite management
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as move up to 50 lbs
