Director of Account Management

This position will staff and oversee the activity of two account management teams and a department coordinator:

The TransplantCARE and specialty contracts team, and the CancerCARE team.

Exciting growth is happening at INTERLINK, the successful candidate will be hiring, training, and expanding the team to meet INTERLINK’s client service needs. Additional opportunities are on the immediate horizon, with the possibility of developing a 3rd team to support our newest program launching in July of 2024.

Key Responsibilities

Execute comprehensive national account management strategies aligned with company objectives.

Lead and inspire a high-performing team of account managers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.

Collaborate weekly with sales, marketing and contracting teams to drive a unified approach to client success.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of account management strategies.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the account management function.

Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team, providing insights to shape the company's overall business strategy.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university. ( Business degree preferred )
  • 2 years of successful Account Management leadership.
  • Interviewing & staff building experience.
  • 2 years of demonstrated ability to lead teams to increase revenue and growth.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in creating programs and working independently.
  • Program development and management skills.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills & ability to manage and participate in many projects.
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
  • Ability and willingness to talk on the phone.
  • Experience in or knowledge of healthcare, TPA, medical stoploss, and reinsurance industry is desired.

Reporting and Leadership Participation:

· Reports to the Vice President, Client Experience.

· Coordinates daily, weekly and monthly activities with the National Director of Sales.

· Participates in a weekly management meeting where team activities are reported to the CEO

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $80,500.00 per year
