Job Summary and Duties:
Intermap is a global leader in geospatial content development and intelligence solutions. As a member of a small, collaborative team of experts, the Capture Manager will use their experience in the business development life cycle from opportunity capture, though proposal development and into project implementation. This individual must be a strong leader who identifies and drives revenue opportunities for key Federal government accounts within the U.S. market. In addition to supporting the development of compliant, responsive, and compelling proposals, you will lead initiatives to improve and facilitate corporate processes and best practices as Intermap continues to grow. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in winning contracts in multiple federal agencies and proven experience in capture of new business by either organic growth within existing programs or through shaping and capture of new business.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Job Requirements:
- The role includes identifying opportunities, developing a capture plan, and executing the capture plan for acquisition targets.
- Develop and grow organizational presence within Federal government space.
- Develops a high “Probability of Win” for those opportunities selected for capture and bid.
- Build and maintain relationships with new agencies and/or existing VA customers, research client requirements, and information that is important for the successful execution of each phase of the capture process.
- Interpret technical and management requirements of Federal Government solicitations (e.g., RFP/RFQs, RTEP/TOPRs, RFIs, etc.)
- Recognize and understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions to those needs.
- Oversees the proposal development process in response to federal Government Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Sources Sought Notices for federal, state or international government requests with the Ability to coach others through the process.
- Organize, track, and communicate proposal requirements to the team and through completion of the bid submission.
- Identify the resources required to pursue a bid, and manages the process, plans and budgets necessary to develop and execute a winning capture plan.
- Engage appropriate resources including operations and technical resources, team partners, writers, graphics specialists, editors, and desktop publishers.
- Document and manage the internal and external capture project efforts.
- Ensure all bids are compelling, complete, and compliant that reflect win strategy elements and align to evaluation factors.
- Review and edit proposal responses for consistency, compliance, win theme incorporation, solution accuracy, and other elements during regular and core team review cycles in order to create the final proposal submission.
Experience Requirements:
- Five (5) years Federal Government business development and/or Capture Management experience associated with identification, qualification, full capture and bid activities.
- A strong working knowledge of US Federal Procurements as well as an understanding of government acquisitions and customer buying behaviors.
- A proven track record of successful capture across multiple organizations and program offices across the federal landscape.
- A track record of leading sizeable and strategic captures and winning those competitions; as well as developing and managing a multiple opportunity pipeline.
- Advanced knowledge of government and military contracts, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), GSA, and common Government RFP requirements and the capture process.
- Technical writing and proposal development experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively as the primary customer point of contact and the ability to interface internally and externally at all levels including senior management.
- Ability to work in deadline-driven environment with efficiency in determining where to focus their priorities and follow-up on critical items for multiple, often simultaneous, proposals.
- Geospatial knowledge a plus.
- Security clearance a plus.
