We are looking for a full time Drug and Alcohol Program Administrator for our headquarters in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a Monday to Friday position.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of our drug and alcohol programs. This position provides outstanding customer service through every customer and team interaction. Responsibilities include initial account set up and client education, program development and maintenance, compliance monitoring, statistical reporting, resolving client complaints, clinic collection support, remote collection support and team and client training. Occasional collaboration with clinical services team is required to meet client needs. This position is Anchorage based with occasional travel requirements throughout the state.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of industry experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience preferred.
  • Four year college degree preferred but not required.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and aptitude for working within information managements systems.
  • verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Collection Support

Program Administrator provides clinic and remote collection support for Beacon clients. This includes performing urine, saliva, breath and hair collections in accordance with federal regulations, state statutes and client specific protocols.

Equipment and Supplies

Program Administrator provides assistance with drug and alcohol collection supply management and equipment maintenance and calibration.

Program Management

Responsible for providing customer service, development of drug and alcohol testing programs, client education and compliance support and related reporting. This includes federal and non federal policy drafting, review and consulting, program compliance, high volume information management, statistical reporting and unofficial regulatory interpretations.

Training

This position requires the ability to deliver industry specific training curriculums to Beacon personnel and Beacon clients once proficiency has been verified by Department Lead and/or Clinical Services Director.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

This position requires:

  • Prolonged period of sitting for approximately 2-8 hours a day.
  • Prolonged periods of standing for approximately 2-8 hours a day.
  • Occasional lifting of 50lbs.
  • Occasional night and weekend work to accommodate client testing needs.
  • Occasional travel to remote location to facilitate client testing and/or training needs.

Contingencies

Offer contingent upon ability to pass pre-employment drug testing (federal panel), physical exam, background check and motor vehicle report.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour
