DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process daily billing, down payment billing/plans, proforma invoices, credits, and debits for customers
- Processes credit applications, including pulling D&B reports on customers to provide appropriate terms and credit limits
- Performs collections account management with problematic clients, obtaining timely payments.
- Prepares weekly/monthly aging report and places delinquent accounts on hold; proactively communicates with customers to request payment and resolve disputed invoices.
- Release accounts and orders from credit hold. Release accounts for shipping for credit card orders.
- Processes lien waivers
- Reviews bad debt quarterly, and prepares bad debt sheet
- Maintains credit history files; reviews and approves credit limits; maintains current D&B on active customers
- Review credits issued to customer for accuracy.
- Maintains customer master data in SAP including customer email contacts for invoicing and statements
- Assists with related special projects as needed. Physical inventory and year end audit.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Possess a two-year degree from college or technical school, 2-3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Possess proficiency in one or more software programs including Microsoft Office products.
3. Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
4. Possess the ability to address and solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
5. Possess the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Possess the ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to co-workers, customers, or vendors.
6. Possess communications skills using common courtesy and the ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, peers or management.
7. Possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
