Event Coordinator

InterWorks is currently looking for an engaging individual to join our Marketing team as Event Coordinator. This individual needs to be a confident, capable organizer who can get things done. We want someone who will be a seamless fit for our unique company culture who specializes in creating meaningful connections. The best fit for this role is someone who’s endlessly collaborative and ready to authentically represent InterWorks to the world through distinct experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Assist Field Marketing Manager with event strategies and planning
• Facilitate logistics ahead of events and webinars
• Manage operations before/during/after events and webinars
• Coordinate with InterWorks leadership, various teams and partners in meeting event deliverables
• Maintain a detailed record of all event operations, materials and expenses
• Regularly research new event opportunities and improve our competitive position in key markets

What You’ll Need

Must-Haves

• 2 years of experience in creating and implementing event strategies
• Excellent logistical skills with the ability to simultaneous manage multiple events
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• General understanding of standard operating procedure for conferences and small events alike
• Ability develop effective contingencies on the fly
• Attitude of a team player with the ability to delegate tasks as needed

Nice to Haves

• Social media/communications/copywriting experience
• Graphic design skills, designing/planning event graphics, event spaces or collateral
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to motivate others
• Media experience – photography, videography, email marketing
