What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Coordinator position at Intra Systems Inc?
Mailroom Systems Inc has a Temp to Hire position currently available for HR Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR and Payroll duties. You will assist in tracking employees hours and overtime and supporting the new hire and interview process. Candidate should be familiar with PayChex software, but is not required. The ideal candidate should have a knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. A background in Benefits Administration is also helpful.
Responsibilities
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Process weekly payroll using PayChex software
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
- Support the hiring process by reviewing candidates application, interviewing, performing background checks, and obtaining employment documents required
- Schedule safety meetings and maintain the agenda and minutes
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
- Support other functions as assigned
Skills
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word)
- Familiarity with PayChex software recommended, but not required
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Good organizational and time management skills
A minimum of 3 years’ experience is preferred. Attention to detail and accuracy important. Fast paced work environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
