Saxon Auto Group is a local, family owned automotive dealership looking for a full time Office Manager to join our organization.  This position will offer a variety of duties from assisting customers to assisting the administrative office.

Position Description:  The Office Manager assists in managing and supervising the office staff.  This position provides sales and expense analysis for all Departments.  This position must fairly represent the financial condition of the Dealership, develop controls necessary for the proper conduct of the business, maintain accurate records, and establish and maintain data processing capabilities to accomplish the Dealership’s objectives.   This position does require prior dealership experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle Human Resources for the dealership.
  • Manage and oversee the office staff which includes; interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, coaching, scheduling, directing, measuring performance, termination, and compensation.
  • Working with the Controller to keep office staffed and trained.                                                     
  • Approve adjustments to Inventory Accounts.                                                                                     
  • Assist in preparing and completing end of month tasks and reporting.
  • Responsible for all general ledger schedules with each employee.  Making sure they are managed on a weekly basis.                      
  • Assist in preparing and processing all insurance claims.                                                                   
  • Coordinate audit (or review) of all physical inventories                                                                                                                                                                            
  • Assist in automating all possible systems and establish controls                                       
  • Coordinate with outside computer companies on computer performance and utilization as it relates to the office
  • Prepare monthly Commission reports for Sales Department. Along with charge-back detail.                 
  • Reconcile bank items daily                                       
  • Manages special projects for the dealership

 

Qualifications:

  • Dealership Office Manager Experience Required
  • Must be an above average communicator.
  • Driven for success.
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be dependable and reliable
  • Computer experience with MS Work and Excel.
  •  

Hours:    To Be Determined, Salaried position.

Compensation:    Competitively based on experience.  Other benefits include, Health & Dental Insurance, personal time, 401K and vacation.
