You will be primarily responsible for supporting the growth and commercialization of the Model Portfolio platform at Invesco. Financial advisers continue to embrace the use of Model Portfolios, and as a $1.4T asset manager and the fourth largest ETF provider globally, Invesco is well-positioned to offer these solutions to our clients.
A Product Manager plays an integral role in growing and supporting the IIS business through best-in-class product positioning and client servicing, leading as a client advocate, and implementing business plans to drive organic growth, profitability, and asset retention. Beyond offering product support, our product managers bring a business owner's approach to the products and capabilities they cover, with the goal of supporting business development efforts and helping every product be as commercially successful as possible while delivering a superior client experience. Key to success in this role is demonstrating the ability to think outside of the box regarding commercialization of their products, and to be nimble and re-focus quickly as business and client needs evolve.
The result is a multi-faceted, dynamic, and challenging role that demands exceptional skills and creativity in communications, analytics, relationship building, and overall project management, as well as being a passionate student of our industry and capital markets.
You will be responsible for:

Work closely with the team's portfolio managers and models portfolio specialists to become deeply knowledgeable about the model portfolio platform and marketplace. This includes a detailed understanding of the investment philosophy, process, drivers of portfolio positioning, performance, attribution, risk attributes, market trends, strategy outlook etc

Assist models portfolio specialist team and distribution leads in developing and implementing business plans to drive the platform's organic growth, profitability, and asset retention.

Know the competitive landscape/peer group; stay current on market trends and competitive developments in all relevant distribution channels. Be able to clearly articulate what differentiates our products from the competition. Use this intelligence to flag sales opportunities and provide value-added insights to our client-facing teams.

Build high-quality collateral for both prospecting and client servicing activities. This includes RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires, marketing presentations and literature for new business development, recurring performance commentaries and product insights for best-in-class client servicing etc. Act as internal point of contact to marketing and distribution teams, providing input with respect to all product messaging.

Cultivate strong, trusting partnerships with teams across the firm and provide connectivity with the IIS team.

Leverage technology and firmwide capabilities to deliver platform insight efficiently and effectively for our clients.

Provide an exceptional service experience to all colleagues and clients.
The experience you bring:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the asset management industry with direct product management experience

Experience supporting multi-asset strategies; direct experience supporting model portfolios a plus

Advanced in PowerPoint and Excel

Experience with financial software such as Morningstar Direct, Y-charts, Factset, Bloomberg

Experience with visualization tools like PowerBI, a plus

Undergraduate degree required, preferably in finance or related field

In the pursuit of CFA program or MBA a plus
