Your Role:
RedBlack is looking for a Director Level Sales Executive. RedBlack provides a sophisticated Rebalancing and Order Management solution to Registered Investment Advisors, Trust Companies, Banks, Wealth Managers, and Asset Managers. The RedBlack Sales Executive will be responsible for prospecting, promoting and leading all initial sales contacts with all prospect target firms within a defined sales territory. The Sales Executive will be expected to meet or exceed their annual quota, and candidates will be considered based on past industry experience and performance. As the lead initial contact with a target firm, the Sales Director will be expected to represent and demonstrate key RedBlack solutions in a professional manner. A key goal of this position is to win and close new business for RedBlack Software which will lead to increased RedBlack firm revenue. The Sales Executive will be expected to travel at least 25% of the time and be able to represent RedBlack at industry conferences and functions.
What you will be responsible for:
- In-depth knowledge of RedBlack’s flagship solution Rebalance Express
- Penetrate new accounts and develop new business within assigned sales territory
- Drive all facets of the sales process from the initial prospecting stage to contract signature
- Sell to C-Level across business, operations and technology using a consultative solution sales approach
- Ability to meet or exceed annual quota as set by the RedBlack Head of Sales
- Work closely with the Pre-Sales team to prepare for sales meetings
- Network with industry colleagues to create new key partners for RedBlack
- Manage all facets of the RFI or RFP process and coordinate all activities of an RFI or RFP from receipt of the RFI or RFP to delivery
- Create strategic account plans and coordinate with all functional areas within the client and RedBlack to successfully identify and drive sales activities and ensure customer success. (only if this person is to manage existing relationships).
- Plan, prepare and deliver targeted sales presentations based on the industry prospect type the prospect meeting is with e.g. an RIA, Private Bank, Trust or Custodian firm.
- Recognize industry trends to understand not only current client needs but also future client needs for prospecting purposes
- Work and communicate in a professional manner with RedBlack clients and team members
Experience you bring:
- Bachelors Degree in Business/Finance
- 2-5 years as a Sales Executive
- Strong selling skills with a history of exceeding quota requirements
- Knowledge and experience in the Wealth Management
- Industry, or experience selling rebalance, trading and or financial planning software a plus
- Effective planning, time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel to sales territory and key conferences RedBlack attends on an annual basis
- Strong selling skills with a history of exceeding quota requirements

- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
