The Department
This position is part of the Procurement Department where the team is focused on providing sourcing and procurement support across major categories of indirect spend at a regional or global level.
Your Role
The Sourcing Manager will integrate with business unit strategies and be responsible for facilitating the sourcing process with key stakeholders and vendors. The position will also support Invesco’s procure-to-pay process and shared service model as relates to the implementation of sourcing strategies, vendor management and risk management.
This position will specifically support the category of Information Technology – Infrastructure spend to include, but not limited to, engineering, networks, hardware/equipment refresh buys to include annual maintenance renewals, telecommunications, data centers and storage, facility audio visual (AV) implementations, Value-added Reseller (VAR) management and other indirect services as assigned to include technology capital projects through the Design, Build and Implementation phases.
You will be responsible for:
- Identify category and vendor cost savings opportunities with global view
- Develop sourcing strategies utilizing marketplace competition, user demand management, and vendor consolidation
- Manage competitive sourcing process with internal stakeholders (RFI/RFP)
- Negotiate vendor agreements and contracts in partnership with stakeholders and Legal
- Draft, review and revise contract documents in accordance with Legal guidance
- Proactively handle major contract renewals and renegotiations and monitor vendor performance
- Provide expenditure analysis and identification of spend outside preferred vendor contracts
- Develop, implement and improve strategic sourcing processes and tools
- Deliver and report sustainable hard cost savings and cost avoidance
The experience you bring:
- Minimum six years of procurement experience or related field involving vendor negotiations and contract drafting
- Proven experience in leading strategic sourcing projects
- Project Management Certification/Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) a plus
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to deliver clear, well-structured presentations: Senior Executive Level presence is required
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-driven, results oriented, and motivated to work effectively without direct supervision
- Ability to concurrently manage and prioritize multiple projects and transactions
- Bachelor Degree required; Advanced degree in Business, Supply Chain, Law, or related areas are desirable.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
