What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Business Partner position at InvestCloud?
How you will provide meaningful contributions:
· Build relationships with employees and leaders to establish yourself as the primary contact on people related matters and planning to action
· Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
· Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity
· Collaborate with leaders to create and recommend employee engagement and retention strategies
· Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
· Identifies coaching needs for business units and employees
· Facilitate and support the performance management and compensation review processes, while serving as a coach and advisor to leaders and managers
· Provide guidance and interpretation in employee relations, interpreting complex employment laws and policies and making recommendations for improvement
· Conduct, manage and resolves complex employee relations/internal investigation issues.
· Ensure that the company is compliant with local, state, and federal regulations in accordance with the policies and practices of the company
· Establish strong partnerships with other departments including, HR Operations (Total Rewards, HRIS), internal IT, and Payroll, to execute on priorities
· Provides guidance and input on workforce planning and succession planning.
· Assists with global mobility administration and processes for new hires and existing employees
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or another related field
· Minimum of 8 years progressive human resources experience resolving complex employee relations issues
· Working knowledge of human resources rules and regulations, including federal and state laws
· Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner with employees and leaders to build high performing teams
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with proven ability to prioritize tasks and organize workload to ensure timelines are met.
· Demonstrates attention to detail coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills leading to thoughtful and logical decision making
· Experience working with Canada business partnership preferred
Preferred Skills / Experience
· PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM SCP highly desired
· Experience in a technology or professional services firm desired
