We are seeking a Production Operator or what we like to call an Ink Technician to work with us. We have a very competitive starting pay of $20.50 an hour PLUS an additional weekend shift premium of $2.50 an hour. The person in this role will tends mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materials for manufacturing of high-quality printing ink by performing any or all of these duties as directed. As an Ink Technician you will be responsible for:
- Following batch instructions to weight batches, change and mix inks
- Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials
- Mix batches of Ink and make additions as directed
- Packaging finished product
- Operating a forklift (training provided)
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
- Have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have basic math, communications and mechanical logic skills
- Be capable to complete multiple tasks
