Responsibilities
IOMAXIS is currently seeking a Pricing Manager to help support our growing business. As a member of highly dynamic team, you will be responsible for the development, preparation and oversight of all pricing schedules, cost volumes/narratives and supporting cost/price strategies in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs); providing guidance on pricing strategies and best practices to Senior Managers. This is a full time position located in Lorton, VA. Available now!
What you'll be doing:
- Developing, analyzing, evaluating, coordinating, preparing, and supporting cost proposals to government and commercial customers
- Early strategic engagement to ensure greater alignment on strategy in the capture and proposal process
- Reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and proposal documents in order to aid in the development of competitive pricing strategies.
- Advising leadership of pricing requirements and obligations and provides interpretation of RFP requirements
- Developing pricing analysis and financial modeling to assist in decision making
- Developing realistic cost proposal schedules that meet all RFP requirements and deadlines
- Developing cost proposals which meet company pricing strategy goals and are compliant with customer requirements and federal regulations including FAR, CAS applicable laws and regulations
- Coordinating with proposal managers/technical staff to ensure required cost data is thorough, accurate, and submitted on schedule
- Interfacing/coordinating with subcontractors to ensure proposals received are reasonable, realistic, and compliant with RFP requirements and are submitted on time
- Collecting statistical data regarding Proposal Costs and Efficiency
- Performing other pricing related duties and ad-hoc activities, as required
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be clearable eligible to Secret level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or other related discipline or equivalent, directly related experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience conducting moderately complex to complex price proposals, including development of pricing strategy and full proposal responses/cost narratives to Federal Government clients
- Demonstrated experience in pricing various types of contracts and/or grants (CPFF, CPAF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ task order, GSA schedules)
- Demonstrated understanding of price to win concepts and techniques
- Demonstrated understanding of FAR, GAAP, CAS
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure and on short deadlines with ability to handle unscheduled extended work hours and nonstandard workweeks
Preferred:
- Experience using ProPricer products
- Secret clearance or higher
