JOB SUMMARY: The Iowa Mold Tooling (IMT) Finance Director is a key role and responsible for directing the accounting and finance teams. The individual supports the organization's strategy and business objectives. This role will oversee the accounting close process, account reconciliations, monthly analysis, forecasting as well as the annual budgeting process. The Finance Director leads business transaction processing teams in cost accounting, inventory, disbursements and property, plant and equipment ensuring financial statement integrity and compliance with GAPP, corporate accounting policies and internal control requirements. The ideal candidate will need to be located near our Garner, Iowa facility as this will be on onsite position. YOUR IMPACT These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. Partner with internal and external customers to lead and grow business. This role is a key member of the IMT leadership team. Direct analysis in key business areas and prepare monthly results for management. Develop connections with internal and external customers on business issues that impact financial projections. Develop the team's knowledge of the business to help identify and drive efficiency opportunities. Partner with management in planning, measuring, and reporting on performance of key business areas and identification of opportunities to improve profitability through pricing or cost efficiency. Ensure that processes and procedures are in place and operating effectively for compliance with the Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Mentor, develop, recruit and retain top talent in a People First Culture. Provide financial analysis support for strategic planning, strategic initiatives, acquisitions, due diligence, business process optimization, and special projects. Drive continuous improvement activities to increase the effectiveness of financial processes and supporting information systems MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Twelve (12) or more years relevant Finance experience. Three (3) or more years of management experience. Ability to interact with company personnel, build strong relations at all levels and across all business units and organizations. Strong understanding of the business impact on different financial policies and processes. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to travel 10%. STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
