Position Overview:
Qualified Travel & Expense Coordinators will play an integral role in supporting field team members. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact supporting the field team with all travel logistics. Travel & Expense Coordinators are diligent and organized; team players; and interested in long-term career growth and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
● Provide world-class customer service and support
● Schedule, manage, and communicate travel arrangements for field teams
● Review and respond to all emails and phone calls within a timely manner
● Coordinate with interdepartmental stakeholders relating to travel arrangements
● Negotiate and build relationships with external travel vendors
● Serve as a main point of contact for all employee travel-related questions
● Make recommendations and assist with travel policy processes
● Manage and maintain the Travel and Expense policies, aligning processes globally
● Monitor traveler compliance, including identifying and making recommendations to address non-compliant travelers and unenforced policies
● Assisting employees with planning and booking travel for field team employees, as well as processing Travel and Expense reports.
Preferred Skills/ Qualifications
● Effective verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and meet defined deadlines
● Strong interpersonal skills
● Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels
● Working knowledge of Travel and Expense reporting process/procedures
● 1-3 years of customer service experience
● Previous experience booking and coordinating travel on behalf of others
● Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
● Ability to manage high volumes of phone calls and emails on a daily basis
● Ability to multitask and prioritize competing projects and issues
● Detail-oriented and attention to accuracy is key
● High school diploma or GED equivalency
● Strong work-ethic, self-accountability, ability to work well both individually and in a team environment
