IRAS Group a family-owned commercial real estate/hotel developer is looking for a committed Regional Director of Operations for our hotels. Our ideal candidate will be engaged, authentic, and prepared to provide leadership, support and resources to our management team.
The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for coordinating, directing, and managing hotel operations to achieve profitability and efficiency while maintaining Company and Brand standards and will provide multi-unit leadership, focusing on guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, and owner satisfaction. Acting as a direct supervisor to General Managers, the RDO will provide support and resources, both in person and remotely. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversight of all financial aspects of each hotel in portfolio: P & L, Forecasting and Budgeting.
- Ensures operational excellence for all hotels in portfolio; provides support, critique and guidance to hotels to ensure brand standards and company expectations.
- Ensure brand QA Compliance/Performance and approving action plans generated by hotel.
- Acts as liaison between hotel General Manager and corporate directors such as Sales and Marketing, HR, Revenue Management and Owner Relations.
- Acts as role model and provide guidance on company culture. Selects, develops, manages and leads management team members.
- Guides, develops and implements policies, procedure and systems to improve business operations.
- May act as a temporary General Manager if needed.
- The Regional Director of Operations may be asked to perform functions that may not be on this list.
Requirements and Skills:
- Brand experience with Marriott and Hilton is essential
- Act as the direct liaison between Hotels and ownership
- Provide guidance to Managers, including, but not limited to hotel operations, reservation delivery, feedback scores, quality assurance scores, sales and marketing techniques, revenue management, etc., and implement Action Plans to achieve a solid return on investment (ROI).
- Proficient on all brand standards and technology platforms utilized.
- Ability to lead others

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Thorough knowledge of the company’s mission, vision and values
- Leadership skills including: coaching, mentoring, feedback and training

Education, Certifications or Licenses Required:
- Marriott and/or Hilton Brand Experience required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in hotel industry
- General Manager leadership experience in multi-units is required
- Strong knowledge of Sales & Revenue Management
