Job description:
We’re looking for an Account Manager to increase revenue and drive customer and partner relationships within United States Navy and United State Marine Corp accounts. We’re looking for an aggressive go getter who brings a passion to grow, positive energy and a commitment to win to our growing sales team. As an Account Manager, you will report to our Director of Sales and work with our sales, engineering and business development teams to grow your account territory. You’ll be exposed to a plethora of technologies, gain hands-on training and work on strategic programs. To be successful, you must have a strong attention to detail, think outside of the box, enjoy problem solving and ability to operate with a sense of urgency, and a passion for a successful future career in sales. The Iron Bow Account Manager will be responsible for all aspects of managing the customer relationship for their assigned accounts. They must have a strong knowledge of customer mission priorities and complex IT Solutions within their area of responsibility (AOR). The Account Manager role is remote, however locations near the Western U.S. are preferred
What you’ll do:
- Candidate must have the ability to develop and execute a strategic growth business plan to drive product and professional services business specializing in: Workforce Experience, IT Modernization, Cybersecurity, Managed Services and Digital Transformation
- Individual will need to have and maintain strong relationships with the Vendor community and OEM counterparts to include developing, leveraging and relationship building between the Vendor and the customer
- Candidate must work closely with Vendor Partners to ensure all customer satisfaction and order issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Has and maintains long-term relationship with accounts/clients
- Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients and drives mission success and growth
- Proven ability to work with the Systems Integrator community with large SI to 8A and other Small and Disadvantaged Partners
- Management and Program Management organizational skills to ensure that goods or services are delivered consistently meet client mission needs
- Responsible for customer satisfaction and sustaining and renewing client contracts
- Develops and participates in and leads program capture activities for strategic opportunities and complex program capture in both direct prime and subcontract efforts.
- Has a strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) guidelines. Specifically, Trade Agreements Act (TAA) and Buy America Act (BAA) and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM)
- Will lead and direct the efforts of a Sales Team to include Customer Support Engineers, Inside Sales Representatives and other internal Program Managers and Engineering resources
- Responsible for all sales and professional service solutions to one or more large, complex Federal Government accounts, both current and prospective. Includes booking, revenue, gross margin, payment and forecasting accountability
- Leverages business and community relationships to increase business revenue and margin through information technology solutions sales
- Assembles and prepares sales handoff packages in accordance with company policies and guidelines
- Additional duties as assigned
What we need in you:
- 8-10 years of progressive experience selling Workforce Experience, IT Modernization, Cybersecurity, Managed Services and Digital Transformation professional and integration services
- Strong domain knowledge of mission priorities and customer leadership within the AOR
- Prior related military experience as a Federal Civilian, Military Retired or Former Military within the AOR community is welcomed
- Travel required: 25%
