Job description:
Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for the development, growth and sustainability of a sales pipeline around Iron Bow’s Telehealth solutions portfolio. This role is expected to work directly with both Iron Bow team members as well as our partner communities in leveraging clinical, technical, business, regulatory and compliance resources to help our customers. Serves as a consultative Account Manager with proven ability within medical staff, Information Services, executive leadership and operational personnel at the hospitals, clinics and extended care clients. Desired location: Mid-Atlantic region.
What you’ll do:
- This is a senior level sales position and as such is responsible for acquiring new Commercial and/or SLED oriented healthcare clients and maximizing spend within those accounts, whether that spend be oriented with IT or Healthcare related technologies.
- Consult with client(s) and assist or lead client(s) in development, creation or optimization of new or existing Telehealth programs and/or IT related projects and strategies.
- Assist in determining the impact of technologies on organizational operations, strategic planning and telemedicine applications, organizational readiness and project management needs for telemedicine.
- Bring an in depth understanding of telemedicine technologies and solutions, clinical considerations, healthcare business models and sustainability, reimbursement requirements and legal and regulatory considerations.
- Create champions inside of customers and gain clinical buy in, create predictors of success, and complete evaluations of program and operational effectiveness/efficiencies.
- Work with remote clinicians and physicians, collecting and reviewing program data, role of IT and technical support in telemedicine success, telemedicine technologies and how to apply them.
- Understand and review TCO, ROI and cost benefit analysis results with client executive leadership.
- Review monthly and quarterly performance metrics, facilitate and help develop clinical adoption services initiatives etc.
- Develops and fosters communication and relationships with local, regional, national and possibly international healthcare providers, institutions and entities to promote improved access to regional healthcare and excellence in service.
- Work closely and partner with Iron Bow partner community to understand client requirements and help develop solutions and services to solve client issues.
- Acquire new healthcare and extended care clients and work closely with them to drive both traditional IT opportunities and Telehealth activities to successful closure.
What we need in you:
- Must have a strong background in selling telehealth related solutions with an existing customer base in the healthcare industry.
- Having working knowledge of certain related IT technologies and solutions is a definite plus as this role can sell both traditional IT as well as clinical telehealth related technologies and solutions.
- Client / partner relationship and network building as well as attendance in formalized training or conferences to maintain skills in the Telehealth and IT industry.
- A strong understanding of networking, video conferencing, collaboration, storage and compute solutions is preferred.
- A solid understanding of healthcare solutions such as RPM, RTLS, etc. is a definite plus.
- This individual must be solution, detail and process oriented, highly competitive, results oriented, able to identify systems and delivery problems.
- Must have good client service and partnering skills along with good verbal and written communication skills.
- 8 years direct industry related experience required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel 30% as needed.
