LOCAL MARKET AMBASSADOR
MAPLE SHADE & VOORHEES
The Local Market Ambassador (LMA) serves as a conduit between the corporate brand marketing and field marketing activations for up to three restaurants or TapHouses. Reporting directly to the Field Marketing Manager, while working closely with each locations General and Regional Managers, LMA’s will be tasked with delivering a consistent brand message to the community through the promotion of company-wide and local programming efforts. The LMA will be responsible for performing activities that support restaurant goals, influence sales, and inspire loyalty among guests and staff. This person will participate in regularly scheduled status calls (biweekly with the Field Marketing Manager) and quarterly planning meetings with the corporate marketing staff.
The LMA will be required to provide program results and track outreach via regular reporting process. This includes but is not limited to excel tracking documents, monthly scorecard, and regular e-mail correspondence.
The hourly rate is $20/hour.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Field Marketing Manager (Corporate)
Amount of Travel Required: 75% Locally
Job Status: Part-time – 30 hours a week
JOB DETAILS
There are four primary pillars that each LMA will focus on.
- Local Business Outreach – 35%
- Create partnerships by engaging hotels, apartments, real estate offices, and other businesses to provide value to their customers, residents and clients, that also drives visits or sales for Iron Hill. (examples: working resident events, setting up happy hours, providing unique coupons and coupon codes) This must be strategized by the local opportunities available by each location in the region.
- Perform and track targeted businesses with food drops, menus and/or coupons to promote private onsite and offsite catering.
- Identify local events and beer festivals for participation or opportunities to promote Iron Hill and identify opportunities within these events to drive sales (ex. special vouchers, merchandise, glassware).
- Community and Nonprofit Partnerships – 35%
- Research local non-profits in the area and book Give 20’s to drive in additional weekday sales.
- Manage Give 20 process from start to finish, contract through execution. Follow up with one week of the final event for feedback.
- Along with the location General Manager and the Field Marketing Manager, manage all donation requests relevant to the assigned locations.
- Local Ads & Social Media Content Support – 20%
- Identify advertising opportunities and sponsorships and work with restaurant General Managers.
- Create and submit local photo and video content for e-mail and social media communication with the guidance of the Social Marketing Manager.
- Private & “4 Wall” Events – 10%
- Assist restaurant operations to support banquet bookings and the marketing of “4 Wall” events such as beer dinners, multitap takeovers, community celebrated events,
- Manage each locations shared events calendar on Outlook

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Restaurant experience is a plus
- Education or background in marketing, sales or related field
- Strong networking and communication skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with or strong understanding of Social Media platforms for business use
- Proven track record of efficiently managing multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines
- Proven ability to work independently and set own goals
