WHO YOU ARE
Often a guest's first impression of a property is the result of the Guest Services Representative's skills and abilities. You will provide a variety of guest services while working in the lobby or reception areas of the hotel. The position is challenging, varied and offers the opportunity to work flexible hours and to meet many new people.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Process guest arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments
- Handle & coordinate room assignments and pre-arrivals
- Handle guests' concerns
- Offer referral for services and handle requests for information
- Handle and store luggage
- Assist with the check-in and check-out of groups and tours
- Assist other departments as required

Requirements

Experience and/or Training
- Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
- Effective conflict management and decision making
Technology/Equipment - Ability to use a variety of computer applications

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is in a hotel environment; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Individuals must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations as well as being able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
