Roles and Responsibilities
Onboarding:
- Verify steps of the onboarding and documentation process for internal new hires are complete
- Background checks and drug screenings for all new employees
- Create ID badges for all staff and capture picture for Public Relations
- Maintain up to date physical and electronic Paycor personnel files
- Set and Manage anniversary, birthday, etc. reminders (Paycor or Outlook)
- Represent IH in investigating and responding to SUI claims
- Facilitate all annual “all staff” trainings within a week of email requests
- Review expiration dates on staff CEUs, training certificates, etc.
- Ensure therapist liability insurance, licenses and certification are not expired. Make sure they are renewed each year on all professional staff
- General filing and scanning and mail check daily
- Recommend strategies and tactics to improve HR operations
- Keeping up with ALL Employee’s IH Assets in Paycor data base (CC, Keys, Electronics, Cars) and running Monthly report on the assets.
- Other duties as assigned
- Manage the LMS in Paycor and make sure All employees are getting their trainings.
Key Performance Indicators
- Set onboardings in Outlook and update dry erase board
- Complete all Background checks before offer letter sent, or employee arrives for their first day
- Personally, escort new hires to the drug screen station
- Capture new hire picture and create name badge prior to manager hand off
- New EE file, physical and/or Paycor, competed within two business days of new EE start day
- Always show patience and calm-assertive energy with staff, interns and/or clients
- Move visitors to HR swiftly away from negativity and complaining as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion without exception
- Answer employment verification requests within two business days
- Follow SUI reporting process:
- Add new SUI claims to the Teams SUI claims feed
- Report number of SUI claims/appeals/etc. received to HR Manager each Friday by COB
- Respond to all SUI claims within 5 days from the date of the claim
- Respond to all SUI appeals by the due date as stated on the appeal document
