- Greets and registers visitors, informs employees of the visitor’s arrival, and directs visitors to appropriate meeting room.
- Performs both receptionist and telephone/switchboard operator duties.
- Answers and transfers internal or external phone calls on a multi-line phone or switchboard station.
- Relays messages.
- Collects and distributes mail.
- Schedules meetings or interviews, and arranges for conference rooms or makes other logistical arrangements as required.
- May perform occasional clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, or photocopying.
- Organizes office lunch orders and setup
- Occasionally assists with basic accounts payable and admin duties
- Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Requires a high school diploma and 0 to 2 years of experience preferred
