What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst position at iSeatz?
We have an exciting opportunity for YOU to join us, as our Data Analyst.
This role can be located anywhere in the continental United States - Feel free to work from your home office or the beach or from the cottage you rented for the summer!
Reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence - this role will take ownership of existing reporting streams providing ad hoc analysis, and developing, maintaining & improving new and existing dashboards.
What will YOU do in this role?
This role is responsible for all duties related to design and delivery of strategic, tactical, operational, and technical insights and reports for management and other stakeholders.
- Understand requirements and build report and analytics in tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics
- Develop conclusions and recommendations for stakeholder teams by distilling massively complex data into concise and actionable items
- Produce a range of visualizations (dashboards, reports, presentations) and provide insights on business performance and (KPIs)
- Enrich data, KPI dictionary and socialize within BI and other departments
- Perform analysis in identifying key drivers, root cause analysis, ‘what if’ simulations and forecasting as required by business situations

Ideally, YOU would have :
2 years experience of translating business needs to data requirements, turning data into compelling stories, and completing the full cycle from data to measurable outcomes with progressive responsibility in BI & Analytics using the following technical skills:- Strong SQL skills, especially PostgreSQL
- BI / Reporting Tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Advanced Excel skills
Skilled in communicating the benefits of data analysis to business line professionals to create a value proposition, including executive level audiences- Data sourcing, data validation and triaging issues related to dataflow processes such as ETLs or comparing source data to reports
You Get Bonus Points if you have:
Adobe Analytics experience (highly preferred)
Prior experience with Python, JIRA/Atlassian
