Position Summary:
We are looking for a candidate who s experienced working as a Audio/Video Administrator who will be responsible for AV equipment set up, operation, maintenance, and repair.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May perform any or all of the following):
- Experience with the maintenance, troubleshooting and problem-solving of AV hardware and software.
- Experience repairing and replacing faulty AV equipment.
- Experience installing new AV equipment.
- Experience maintaining documentation of AV systems, records, logs and procedures.
- Experience facilitating live audio and video events.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
- Ensure that the AV equipment in the various venues and public viewing areas is operational for regular meetings and special events.
- Facilitate the repair or replacement of any non-functioning AV equipment and install or assist in installation of new AV equipment.
- Maintain documentation of AV systems, records, logs and procedures.
- Facilitate video conferences and train meeting support personnel to operate the equipment in the meeting rooms.
- Ensuring that AV hardware and software is prepared to meet the needs of the organization.
- Maintain inventory of equipment.
- Offering plans and advice for live audio and video events, including broadcasts, conferences, and so on.
- Operating the master controls of AV systems during events.
- Maintenance, troubleshooting and problem-solving of hardware and software.
- Storing, transporting, assembling and disassembling AV equipment.
- Ensuring the production and updating of AV documentation such as user guides.
- Cabling and wiring to implement technologies into AV setups.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance checks in conference rooms.
- Provide onsite event and meeting support including planning, setup and testing for various meetings, events and projects throughout the site
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or engineering or a related field.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships inside and outside the organization
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and orally, and to maintain harmonious internal and external working relationships.
- Ability to be on call via cell phone or other department-defined method.
- Ability to pass a medical physical.
- Ability to pass a security check.
- Possess a valid Texas driver s license.
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
