We are looking for an energetic, self-starting, organized, detail-oriented candidate with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment to join our team.
ISN is seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to lead a team to perform lender compliance reviews for pre-selected lenders based on the requirements of Title V of the Housing Act of 1949 section 1490 p-2 (42 U.S.C.) as amended and 7 CFR Part 3565 and various administrative notices. PM can be remote, does not need to be located in Bethesda, MD.
The USDA Rural Development (RD) Rural Housing Service (RHS) administers the Section 538 Guaranteed Rural Rental Housing Program (GRRHP) and requires reviews of GRRHP Lenders or Servicers. The reviews will be performed to document the level of Lenders' and Servicers' compliance with Agency policies and procedures and will include all eligibility, processing, underwriting, closing, and servicing requirements for GRRHP loans.
It is essential that the USDA continue to exercise proper oversight and monitoring of the
Lenders and Servicers who participate in the 538 program to minimize risk and keep losses at a minimum. The PM will review the processes and procedures employed by private sector entities that participate in the GRRHP to ensure compliance with USDA regulations and the observance of the best business practices within the mortgage industry.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Public Trust Clearance

Project Manager must have:

(a) 5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following disciplines:
Accounting
Auditing
(b) within the last 3 years, have experience performing government program compliance reviews;
(c) prior experience evaluating multifamily borrower financial statements and adherence
to regulatory and handbook guidelines
(d) 3 or more years of experience working as a Project Manager on similar projects

(a) 5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following disciplines:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Business Management
