Job description:
- Working closely with Multiple Product Management, Development, QA and other stakeholders on planning and delivering high quality software using agile/scrum processes
- Understanding the product and technology well enough to support the project, identify and communicate risks, and drive issue resolution.
- Generating and tracking agile metrics as it relates to scrum team predictability and productivity with an eye towards continuous improvement.
- Scheduling and facilitating scrum ceremonies including the daily standup, sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
- Ensuring the team has clear understanding of the quality of software they are developing and is constantly working to improve that quality.
- Serving as Scaled Agile Framework champion. Coach teams and stakeholders on SAFe principles and the agile mindset and drive home the value of agile/scrum across the organization.
- Maintaining consistent communication at the team and program level, along with critical stakeholders
- Driving a collaborative and supportive team culture through team building and engagement practices
- Acting as backup for other Scrum Master’s and Management team as required.
What You Will Need:
- 5 years SW project management experience
- 2 years leading agile teams as Scrum Master using either scrum or kanban.
- Ability to foster and maintain a positive and creative work environment for teams including dealing with conflict within the team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- PMI-ACP Certified
- Scrum Master Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related area
- MBA
