Program Manager

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

This is a high-impact position with goals focused on driving a project portfolio that is aligned with Isola's business strategy. This position brings consistency, integrity and intensity into strategy-critical programs and encompasses identification, initiation, planning, and implementation activities surrounding business cases.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Defines and develops program scopes, objectives, detailed plans, budgets and metrics for large complex corporate initiatives
• Develops forecasts and responses to variances and trends with the project
• Establish and maintain relationships with key members of the program and manages communications between various functions within the organization
• Identify risks and develop risk mitigation actions
• Works with the team leaders to involve management and stakeholders in improvement activities, help overcome barriers to team success, and manage change effectively
• Perform weekly assessments of project progress through tool-based reporting and report status to appropriate leaders
• Read and interpret technical data including but not limited to thermal, electrical and chemical figures
• Presents project status to executive team
• Coordinates global cross-functional teams and facilitates a highly organized and controlled process for developing business cases for new product development programs
• Works collaboratively with peers in Operations, R&D, Finance, Quality and other functions to coordinate and collect the necessary inputs for New Product Development Initiatives
• Other projects and duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a business or engineering discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in a business/quantitative analysis, process engineering.
• Demonstrated new product development expertise as with a broad understanding of related technical disciplines.
• 2-3 years of experience in a program or project management role preferred.
• Familiar with PCB Industry, laminate manufacturing and testing & safety initiatives. Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt certification & PMP a plus.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts globally.
