What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Technician position at ISOPURE, Corporation?
Summary:
This position supports quality Project Management and Engineering activities including design and verification/validation activities, related to finished goods, as well as new product development, in accordance with medical device regulations, GMP and internal standard operating procedures. This position directly interfaces with and proactively supports project management, production, engineering, and quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Perform QC testing procedures on complex devices and systems
- Record test results, serial numbers, and all pertinent system information with great detail
- Document and address non-conformances as well as support corrective/preventive actions
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks within the testing area and testing equipment
- May assist with failure investigations for non-conformances, perform root cause analysis
- Work with management to improve Quality System policies and procedures
- Follow specific protocols/procedures accurately
- Assist in writing/updating Standard Operating Procedures as needed
- Assist Engineering in developing more efficient designs or processes
- Aid technical service for compliant replication to aid troubleshooting
- Audit quality records for completeness and accuracy as needed
Qualifications:
- Degree in a technical field is preferred
- Minimum 1-year experience performing in a technical environment is preferred
- Excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Organization and attention to detail are critical
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulatory standards
- Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently and able to follow directions well
- Organizational and interpersonal skills are required
- General knowledge of AC/DC circuits and wiring procedures preferred
- General knowledge of hydraulic piping systems and hydraulic processes is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word and Excel

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
