Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections, lubrication, and adjustments.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities, such as cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to determine maintenance priorities and schedule repairs.
- Document maintenance performed, including inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment, coordinating with vendors for timely replenishment.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay updated with technological advancements and industry trends in maintenance practices and equipment.
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades as needed.
- Support production teams by responding to equipment breakdowns and providing timely repairs.
- Perform other duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in repairing and maintaining production equipment, such as conveyors, motors, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance record-keeping and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
