Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician at ISRI, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our production equipment and facility. Your expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance tasks will contribute to the overall productivity and success of our company.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections, lubrication, and adjustments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities, such as cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to determine maintenance priorities and schedule repairs.
• Document maintenance performed, including inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment, coordinating with vendors for timely replenishment.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Stay updated with technological advancements and industry trends in maintenance practices and equipment.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades as needed.
• Support production teams by responding to equipment breakdowns and providing timely repairs.
• Perform other duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in repairing and maintaining production equipment, such as conveyors, motors, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance record-keeping and inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures for maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
