What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Vice President [SE] position at Iteris?
Iteris Inc. is seeking an Associate Vice President for Transportation System Management & Operations (TSM&O) program oversight, project management and business development. The successful candidate will have working experience and knowledge of arterial operations programs at the state and local levels in the state of Florida.
What you will be doing:
- Program management over Iteris TSM&O and Arterial Management programs - Supporting growth of programs across Florida
- Project Management for large FDOT and countywide arterial operations multi-year contracts
- Conduct business development and support Florida growth of arterial operations work
- Manage and mentor engineers and technical staff
- Local and Statewide travel required occasional
What you need to be successful in this role:
- 15 plus years as an expert in the traffic engineering industry
- At least 5 years' experience successfully leading multi-disciplinary teams
- At least 5 years' experience in business development within the Transportation Planning, ITS, or Traffic Engineering/Operations industry in Florida and preferably Tampa area
- At least 5 years experience in arterial operations, TSM&O, and traffic safety
- Understanding of the Florida transportation industry in general with a strategic market understanding and trends affecting the future of transportation
- Excellent technical reputation and well networked in the transportation engineering/planning industry in Florida
- Strong strategic leader, mentor and motivator of diverse staff
- Experience directing and managing traffic operations analysis, corridor analysis, traffic impact studies and transportation development plans
- Excellent communications skills with a passion for transportation industry
- Florida PE required, PTOE and RSP certifications desirable
Iteris anticipates paying between $135,000 and $150,000 for this role. However, actual pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.
