ITG Communications, LLC is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialistt.This position will be responsible for vendor and subcontractor payments, reconciling vendor statements, and processing vendor payments. Candidates will have proven experience in accounts payable and a good understanding of assets, accounting principles, organizational skills, high attention to detail, able to communicate effectively and professionally, and meet deadlines in a very fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Process invoices, credit memos, check requests, employee reimbursements, etc. • Coding invoices with proper G/L account codes
• Data Entry • Weekly subcontractor payments and invoice creation/entry
- Process and maintain Purchase Orders
- Prepare a weekly Cash Requirements report
- Process weekly ACH payments via NACHA Upload file
- Process new vendor requests including credit applications
- 1099 preparation
- Maintain Accounts Payable internal controls through proper processes and procedures
- Ability to resolve discrepancies with vendors
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years accounts payable experience • Accounting degree preferred but not required • Good understanding of Accounting Principles and practices • Strong data entry skills with ability to reconcile differences • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables/ VLOOKUP’s) • Acumatica and other accounting software experience a plus • Good verbal and written communication skills • Results oriented with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness • Strong Organizational and problem-solving skills • Proficient Computer skills • Detail oriented • Ability to multi-task and work independently • Self-starter
