Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Austin, TX, Greenville, SC, Liberty Lake, WA

Itron is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist  to manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a volume of requisitions for North America, primarily technical in nature.

In this role, you will work with hiring managers from the initial opening of requisitions to new hire onboarding.  You will work to outline the position requirements and determine appropriate recruitment strategies to successfully identify, attract and evaluate top talent.  You will negotiate offers, support the contingency and onboarding process, and provide a consistent and world-class candidate recruitment and onboarding experience.  In addition to fulfilling immediate recruitment needs, you will be expected to develop candidate pipelines to support current and future talent acquisition needs and contribute to ongoing innovation efforts.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Define position requirements; develop recruiting plans and strategies; coordinate interviewing schedules; and provide guidance on salary, interviewing, relocation, immigration and related personnel issues.
Deliver high quality customer service to hiring managers and candidates in order to quickly fill positions in accordance with established key performance indicators.


Understand and communicate Itron’s culture, products and services and market information in order to ensure the “best fit” candidates are identified for each role.
Promote and ensure best practices are followed during applicant tracking, interviewing, hiring throughout the recruiting process.


Proactively develop and manage diverse, qualified candidate pipelines for future placement opportunities.  
Negotiate compensation packages, which includes understanding of Itron’s salary, bonus and equity plans, and benefits.
Manage interaction with selected staffing partners, if required. Provide performance feedback of staffing partners, as needed.
Participate in, or lead, HR projects related to talent acquisition.
Provide input on global TA process improvements, training, and ongoing automation efforts.

Recruit technical and non-technical roles, including but not limited to:
Engineering (hardware, software, firmware)
Data science
Project management
Finance
Information Technology
Information Security
Supply Chain

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field is highly preferred
Minimum 5  years of full lifecycle recruitment experience in a similarly sized technology company

Required experience:

Experience building strong relationships and quick rapport with hiring managers, global HR, and leadership
The ability to demonstrate effective interviewing skills in order to qualify the candidate’s professional strengths, accomplishments, motivations and personal career objectives
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proven experience with modern sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems
