Role: Workday Core HCM Consultant
Type: Full Time
Location: Onsite preferred/Hybrid (3 days onsite possible)
Responsibilities:
- The candidate for this role will be acting as the liaison with the HR community.
- They will lead discussions on enhancements, issues, bugs, or break-fix matters.
- They will assess the request from the business, analyze what needs to happen, devise a solution(s), ensure alignment with the business on the solution, then will go off to implement the solution.
- Develop long-term solutions and execute on those implementations, involving internal and external team members when necessary
- Interface with 3rd party support staff to help implement solutions Negotiate with the business on solutions implementation timeline depending on priorities.
- Workday System Administrator managing the Configurations and Application Security as per the requirements from Human Resources.
- Collaborate with HR business leads to manage existing and new functionality/requirements in Workday HCM's Core HR, Benefits, and Talent/Comp modules; Recruiting module knowledge is a big plus.
- Develop, create, and maintain a variety of Workday reports utilizing Workday Report Writer.
- Provide guidance and promote best practices for Workday Business Process design, workflow, and enhancements to the business.
- Educate and promote self-service reporting functionality with end users by utilizing various communication and training methodologies.
- In collaboration with Human Resources, lead the exploration, evaluation, recommendation, design, and configuration of new features, functionalities, and security for HCM and associated modules within Workday.
- Manage the Testing/Validations for Workday system changes (Releases, Fixes, and Enhancements).
- In partnership with Human Resources, create functional and technical systems documentation.
- Proactively find inefficiencies in processes, suggest enhancements, and present proposals to Business Owners and leadership.
- Effectively collaborates with teams such as HR, Talent, Recruiting, Technology, Finance, and others to provide support for requests such as enhancements, defects, and new functionality.
- Partner with stakeholders (internal/external to HR) to understand new report/data requirements and ensures results meet the business needs within Workday.
- Provide support for Workday, including researching, identifying, and resolving complex Workday issues, unexpected results, and process flaws

Salary: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
