Position Summary
ITT Enidine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainment Engineering Manager to lead our Manufacturing Engineering Test Engineering Teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and operations leadership positions, with expertise in overseeing capital projects, enhancing production efficiency, implementing Standard Work and Leader Standard Work, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and developing and supporting internal testing capabilities. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a focus on cost-effectiveness, and a commitment to quality.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to Enidine’s Manufacturing and Test Engineering Teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Perform team resource management including one-on-ones, talent development, budget control, and performance management.
- Ensure continued support of production keeping product flowing and scaling for the future growth across the Aerospace and Industrial product lines.
- Monitor KPI’s, cost drivers and identify opportunities for lean improvements. Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, minimize waste, and increase throughput while maintaining quality standards.
- Lead DFM (Design for Manufacturing) initiatives to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturing, assembly, and test. Collaborate with design teams to incorporate manufacturability considerations early in the product development process to help manage staying within initial cost targets..
- Lead capital projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to enhance production performance, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in and Engineering discipline or a related field.
- Proven experience in engineering management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and automation.
- Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Preferred
- Experience leading Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping events, and process improvement efforts.
- Experience leading and performing time studies.
- Ability to lead Continuous Improvement efforts, generate training content, and provide training to the new standard.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading capital projects.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated high degree of Emotional Intelligence
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards such as ASTM, ISO, and SAE is a plus.

Equal Pay Act Range
Annual Salary Range is 120,400 - 180,600, plus benefits and incentive plans.
