What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drywall Finisher position at IUPAT DC 53?
-IUPAT DC 53 is seeking experienced Drywall Finishers in your local area! Must have 3 years or more of experience in Drywall Finishing! If you do not have said experience please refrain from applying! Thank you.
-Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be required to perform essential tasks involved in drywall finishing. Work requirements are as follows:
- Joining drywall panels using tape and plaster.
- Taping and bedding accordingly.
- Running corner and zip beads.
- Running flat and butt joints as well as sand.
- Repairing cracks and any other damage to the drywall panels.
- Concealing any imperfections or exposed irregularities in the drywall surface.
- Layering plaster or spackle with trowels to create a flat surface.
- Sanding down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surface.
- Skimming surfaces with a final layer of plaster to prepare for finishing work.
- Ensuring that all equipment and materials are used safely and effectively.

Pay: $16.52 - $29.61 per hour
