Job Description: Indorama Integrated Oxides & Derivatives is currently looking for a dynamic individual to work as a Turnaround Planning Coordinator Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the planning for either mechanical, instrumentation, or electrical work on the approved turnaround work scope for the assigned area(s). What will be expected from you Facilitate the gathering of detailed planning information from previous T&Is. Ensure assigned team members meet expected planning milestones. Lead integration of mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical turnaround plans into a single integrated P6 schedule. Assist T&I management in assembling, vetting and maintaining multi-discipline work lists. Facilitate daily reviews of all planning efforts and assignments for areas of responsibility. Formulate cost estimates based on industry norms and turnaround planning best practices. Facilitate the review of execution performance costs to validate estimate accuracy. Be physically able to lead and perform field walks in elevated structures and scaffolding to ensure understanding of work requirements and potential obstacles to job success. Experienced in schedule development from multi-discipline job plans by mentoring planners on the logical sequencing of job plan activities and identification of relationships. Ideal candidate will be experienced in working as a maintenance foreman or general foreman/foreman during the TA execution phase. Lead the request for quote process and bid process as necessary. Facilitate the Level I job plan audits for completeness and accuracy. Assist T&I Management analyzing deviations from the baseline in the Project Master schedule to highlight and correct/prevent bottlenecks and delays, and to recommend corrective actions. Experienced in documenting, managing, and coordinating field change orders. Be able to seamlessly Interface with within a cross-functional team from operations, technical disciplines, capital projects, and maintenance to develop integrated work plans. Interface with schedulers, process specialists, and Operations Maintenance Coordinators to identify work priorities and sequencing to relate to unit operation needs. Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives. Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives. Assists other employees in accomplishments of Indorama Ventures company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor. Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company required training programs. What are we looking for in the ideal candidate? H.S. Diploma required or GED Equivalent required. 7-10 experience in planning mechanical, instrumentation, or electrical turnaround work scope items required. Associate Degree in Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or related field with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in construction management, industrial technology, planning, or a related field in an industrial setting preferred. 3-5 years in a maintenance/turnaround, or operational leadership role preferred. MUST HAVE or be able to obtain a TWIC card. Must have a level of proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs. Must have a working knowledge and understanding of schedule development utilizing appropriate logic ties. Knowledge of safety policies and procedures and demonstrated commitment to safe work practices. Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective organizational & problem solving, time management, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively multi-task and manage competing priorities. Ability to effectively work with spreadsheets and graphs/charts to communicate job progression and management. Proficiency with standard software packages including MS Word, MS Excel, or other planning software. Working knowledge and experience in turnaround planning principles and techniques. Experienced in working within turnaround systems. Extensive knowledge and experience in scheduling, estimating principles/techniques for turnarounds. Understanding of resource planning and resource allocation techniques. Ability to read blueprints and process/instrument drawings. Must be able to scope out work orders (IE. Find equipment in field) and read and understand P&ID, Sketches and drawings. Strong experience in SAP. Must have a valid driver’s license. What can we offer you?
