Silver Oak nursing is looking for a hard working, self motivated, and quick learning team member to join their facility as Business Office and Human Resources ( HR ) manager.
Responsibilities as BOM:
- Private collections
- Insurance Verification
- Data entry of resident demographics
- Completion of required admission paper work
- Medicaid application process
- Resident trust
Responsibilities as HR:
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle personnel issues
- Working knowledge of administrative practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to employment law, wage and hour rules, employee relations, payroll, OSHA, Privacy Act, etc.
- Ability to implement and interpret the HR/Payroll programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the facility
- Must have ability to act as liaison between personnel and management
- Must be able to communicate personnel policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to staff members and government agencies/personnel
- Must have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, associates and support agencies
Requirements include:
- 2 years experience in Business Office preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment
- 2 years of Proven Collections Medicare and Medicaid experience
- 2 years of successfully processing Medicaid in Iowa
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
