Ivy Rehab Network, is looking to hire a Part Time Physical Therapy Aide for Wallingford location
We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for assisting others live life to the fullest. Our Physical Therapy Aide’s perform non-medical tasks which include assisting with patient check in, setting up and cleaning exercise areas, as well as assisting patients with performing therapeutic exercises under the supervision of our licensed staff.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Proven exceptional customer service and patient care experience
- Ability to self-motivate with the drive to exceed patient expectations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while consistently maintaining a positive attitude
- Physical Therapy Aide experience preferred, but not required
- Strong oral and written skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to adapt and be flexible with changes in workload
- Flexibility to work varied shift and weekends
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide an outstanding and professional customer service experience to ensure efficiency
- Promote positive patient experiences
- Assist patients in the performance of therapeutic experiences under the direct supervision of our licensed Clinical Staff
- Maintain responsibility for general maintenance and upkeep of the clinic including, but not limited to collecting laundry items, replacing with clean laundry, cleaning and maintenance of all equipment, cleaning treatment tables, and emptying trash receptacles
- Provide support as necessary with front office duties including, but not limited to, answer clinic phone, scheduling patients, clinic correspondence and patient check in, and co-pay collection
- Coordinate and communicate with front office employees and supervisor
