The Education Marketing Manager is the go-to marketing person at izzit.org responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of day-to-day external communications with our educators, including writing and posting all social media campaigns, as well as specific marketing projects for izzit.org including product releases, events and exhibits, and ensuring implementation of the established strategy, commitments and goals. We are located in Erie, Pennsylvania, but you can be remote. You must be within the eastern or central time zones.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
· Leads the planning and implementation of marketing projects for izzit.org, including scheduling project timelines through our project management software
· Facilitates the definition of marketing project scopes, goals, and deliverables
· Develops full-scale marketing project plans, with assistance from the izzit.org team, outsourced consultants and internal shared services
· Creates tactical marketing calendar covering content, email campaigns, social media marketing, sponsored content activities, and events
· Craft copy for email campaigns and social media marketing activities in collaboration with izzit.org team members
· Advise and provide implementation support for SEO and paid ad strategies.
· Track success of marketing, report and analyze using appropriate tools, such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite
· Regularly monitors and reports on progress toward Key Performance Indicators (primarily educator usage, interaction, and impact) to all stakeholders
· Write copy for newsletters, blogs, and other marketing content, such as brochures, etc.
· Review and provide input on any sponsored content features through 3rd parties, such as ACE-Ed, AASL, NCSS, etc.
· Make recommendations on content sharing opportunities to expand the visibility of izzit.org resources to teachers
· Assists with project evaluations and assessments of results
· Manages ever-changing project budgets and project resource allocation
Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree and qualification in Marketing, project management or equivalent
· Direct work experience in marketing projects and products, specifically in the education market, is highly desirable
· Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
