What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing/Recruiting Assistant position at J&G Security?
We are seeking a creative person who is well-versed in the production and editing of video content and audio content, graphic design, social media strategy and management, and various scheduling apps to assist us in tuning up our authoritative voice in our industry. We seek to post informational, educational, and entertaining content on our platforms weekly for the purpose of recruitment, as well as engagement with those recruits.
This role will work in tandem with our Recruiter, supporting her needs as highlighted below.
This position is reserved for the qualified applicant that thinks outside of the box; who seeks to apply their understanding of metrics to brainstorming new ideas, tactics, and strategies as needed; and who is passionate about the company for whom they work!
Marketing Responsibilities:
- · Brainstorm and script content schedules one month in advance in a scheduling app such as Asana, Trello, Clickup, etc. and submit for review
- · Create (batch), schedule, and organize consistent informative social media content across multiple platforms, including reposting
- · Film/record, edit, and post YouTube and Podcast content biweekly and post to SM platforms
- · Assist with brand development, awareness, and branded sales material production
Recruiting Assistance Responsibilities:
- · Source and screen cold call candidates
- · Screen calls and applications
- · Prepare weekly follow-up schedule
- · Maintain comprehensive files for all candidates, escalating those hired
- · Assist with preparation for and conducting Orientations
- · General support of the Recruiter in her absence
Assists with:
- · Preparing the department’s consolidated activity report for management review
- · Preparing of the department’s quarterly and annual budgets
- · Organizes and maintains the department’s electronic and hard copy filing systems
- · Maintains the department’s office supply inventory and schedules equipment maintenance as needed
- · Mailroom attendence
Required Skills:
- · Strong command of Office Suite experience (EXCEL, Powerpoint, Outlook, API,)
- · SEO, KPI, and analytic construction and analysis
- · Practical knowledge and application of Canva, Adobe, Asana, Google Suite, Hootsuite, Hubspot and/or the like
- · Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- · Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- · Excellent time management skills
- · Well-developed organizational skills
