J Hardy Outfitters/Sand Dollar Lifestyles is a 25-year-old Outdoor name brand apparel, footwear and accessories retailer based out of Orange Beach, Alabama. We are looking for a results driven RETAIL ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER to assist the store manager in overall store management of our location at the Tanger Outlet in Sevierville, TN. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales goals and manage staff effectively. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in retail sales and/or management. Assistant store manager responsibilities will include sales, supervising associates as well as assisting the store manager.

Responsibilities
· Assist the store manager in developing business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and profitability
· Assist the store manager in meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to Sales Associates
· Ensure high levels of customer’s satisfaction through excellent service
· Assist in maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
· Report to store manager any buying trends, customer needs, inventory needs etc.
· Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
· Deal with issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc.)
· Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
· Additional assistant store manager duties as needed
