Position Summary

The purpose of this 100% remote position is to develop and execute on integrated marketing plans and programs (direct sell and lead generation) for three marketing websites These websites include DataSense, J.J. Keller Consulting and Safe & Smart. This position takes a leadership role for promotion projects and is responsible for ROI, project management and integration with all key stakeholders and areas. While the majority of the role will be within the digital space, some responsibilities will be within traditional marketing planning.

This position could utilize skill in SEO/PPC, experience with Adobe AEM, and even UI/UX!


Job Responsibilities

  • Recommends, develops and implements strategies for new marketing and lead generation across channels, including print (direct mail, catalog) and digital (PPC, online advertising).
  • Manages customer-facing lead and communication channels.
  • Responsible for Content Management System (CMS) sites and their direction to optimize user experience, increase site traffic and generate leads, with an understanding of online advertising, paid search, SEO and Social media.
  • Develops and manages elements, or specific channels, of marketing twelve-month schedules, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Identifies and implements subscriber communication opportunities to increase retention, site usage and overall engagement.
  • Generates list specifications for promotions. Researches, identifies, and tests lists, ensuring optimization of lists based on promotion objectives.
  • Tracks promotion results based on varying promotion objectives. Responsible for changing plans based on results, including rollout decisions and stopping or modifying declining promotions.
  • Performs analyses of promotions and user experience using available tools such Google Analytics, SAP and other resources. Responsible for defining the analysis objectives, understanding the data, performing analysis, presenting results and effectiveness, and modifying plans based on results.
  • Monitors progress towards various objectives (revenue, credit memos, response rates, margins, profitability, subscription count, new customer acquisition targets) and modifies plans based on progress.
  • Participates in related market research projects, providing marketing input and utilizing research results in promotional plans.
  • When handling Marketing Events, develops event content, effectively collaborates with and directs event talent, manages technical event requirements, and skillfully hosts events to drive key metrics.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3 years marketing experience, preferably in a direct response environment.
  • Business-to-Business marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience with digital analytics and Content Management Systems.
  • Experience working with web analytic tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business-related field.
  • In lieu of degree, may consider a combination of education and related work experience.

Other Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Suite.
  • Proven understanding of marketing principles utilizing direct sales and direct marketing programs.
  • Knowledge of online advertising and best practices – Paid search, SEO, Social, etc.
  • Ability to strategically assess the needs of the marketplace and make decisions based on the findings.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to integrate plans with multiple areas.
  • Ability to perform analysis of promotions, margins, target audiences, and purchasing patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks.
  • Demonstrated written, creative and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Work can be performed primarily in a standard office environment either remotely, at our corporate headquarters in Neenah, WI or in a hybrid capacity for local candidates. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $61,520.00 to $76,900.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location. Note that J. J. Keller is not currently recruiting employees to work in California. J. J.
